I’m not a big fan of Bruce Springsteen’s music and disagree vehemently with a lot of his politics, but if the rumored account of his DUI arrest is accurate, then it seems unfair:

It’s virtually certain that the rangers recognized Springsteen and concluded that a celebrity bust would draw some attention.

Bruce Springsteen’s Drunken-Driving Charges Dropped by Prosecutors
Tests showed the musician’s blood-alcohol level was under the legal limit. Mr. Springsteen pleaded guilty to the third charge of consuming alcohol in a closed area.
